Nafplio was the first capital of the Greek State from 1829 to 1834. Walk along the paved paths and gase at the old mansions in the old part of the town.
In the peaceful hinterland of Epidaurus, with its mild climate and abundant mineral springs, is the sanctuary of Asklepios, the most famous healing centre of the Greek and Roman world.It is considered the birthplace of medicine and is thought to have had more than two hundred dependent spas in the eastern Mediterranean.

Holiday Program
Depart for the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive to Mycenae and visit the archeological site and the tomb of Agamemnon. After lunch, through the plain of Argos, proceed to Nauplia the first capital of modern Greece with its Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourtzi. Continue to Epidaurus and visit the archaeological site. Return, drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to Athens.
